Golden Hill Turquoise. or Desert Lavender. is one of the newest and most distinct-looking types of turquoise on the market. making it highly sought after and collectible. Discovered in 2013 in the Altyn-Tyube mine in Kazakhstan. it can only be mined during the winter months. as the mine floods during warm weather. First introduced to the United States around 2018. it is known for its milky sky blue color and brown or lavender matrixes that create gorgeous contrast and incredible depth. and is one of the most chemically pure turquoises available.

This necklace features high-grade Golden Hill turquoise in a double pendant. one comprised of nine pieces set into a flower shape and the other featuring four pieces set into a flourish. both accented by sterling silver stars and a contrasting patina finish. The body features four more pieces of turquoise per side in detailed. hand-stamped settings. finished with a hand-textured oversized chain and a large hook closure.
