This eye-catching cuff is made of sterling silver with forty square pieces of coral inlaid in a grid pattern. The silver has been polished to a smooth. shiny finish. except between the coral. where the recessed setting has a dark patina to bring out the bright red of the coral.

There is a ban on harvesting new Mediterranean Red Coral. as the reefs have been greatly disturbed and are endangered. All coral that has been harvested is increasing in value. and is very precious. as it will not always be available once the harvested lots are sold. It is said to protect and strengthen one's emotional foundation and enable self-acception.
